The Town of Derry is seeking a Prosecutor to represent the Derry Police Department in all prosecutorial matters.
Reporting to the Chief of Police, the Prosecutor represents the Derry Police Department in District Court, conducts arraignments, prepares and tries misdemeanors, violations and juvenile cases, prepares felony cases for probable cause and bail hearings, and performs related work.
Membership in good standing in the NH Bar Association and excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Three years of prosecutorial experience are preferred.
